  Applicants must have secured an invitation or acceptance letter from a host institution abroad.

  Applicants must be of Greek nationality or descent.

  The research visit must be completed before the applicant's 35th birthday.

  Applicants must lack the financial means to self-fund the visit and will be required to sign a declaration to confirm this.

The fellowship provides up to €16,000, in line with the Bodossaki Foundation's Visiting Researchers Scholarship Programme. The award covers travel, accommodation, and research-related expenses:

  €2,500 / month for visits to universities in the USA or Canada

  €2,000 / month for visits to universities in other countries
• •
  €1,000 one-time relocation and travel allowance

All eligible applications will be evaluated by the Scientific Committee of Greeks in AI, composed of three (3) distinguished professors in the field of AI. The review considers both scientific quality and the strategic value of the proposed international visit, in line with the core principles of transparency, accountability, and integrity.

The proposed visit should be clearly scoped, feasible within a six-month period, and aligned with the applicant's doctoral milestones.
